On Friday October 16 the 51st Head of the Charles Regatta took place on the Charles river in Boston Massachusetts. Over 400,000 spectators lined the river for this renowned race. A Crew-Cial start to the season

On Sunday September 13, the Bedford High School Crew team started their fall 2015 season off with a bang at the Concord Regatta. With a mixed lineup women’s eight taking home a first place trophy, varsity men’s four placing second and a men’s eight taking third, overall the eleven boats that raced all did well.

The Bedford Bulldogs girls basketball team continues its exciting run after a state title last season, and while a lot has happened the last 2 seasons, this team isn’t changing a thing. Currently 20-0 this season and 36-0 since last year, the team has closed in on the first seed and secured home-court advantage in the playoffs until they reach the semi-finals and play at Southern New Hampshire University. Bedford girls will be back on the field in just less than a month, starting in early April with a series of scrimmages to prepare them for their season. The team is returning with goals in mind, ready for action after a strong finish last year.

With spring sports just around the corner and warmer weather hopefully approaching the question for the upcoming season is what the teams are going to look like when they suit up for games in late March and early April. Teams are not set yet as tryouts will begin on March 24. The tryouts will give opportunities for all athletes to take the field and show to the coaches what they have to offer.
Like many other teams, the boys’ baseball team lost prominent seniors last year leaving only four seniors on the team this year and causing many underclassmen to step into key roles...read more

The Bedford Bulldogs Lacrosse team is going into this season not knowing what it will hold for them after losing four starters from a team that has gone undefeated in the last two seasons and won two championships. A program so acquainted with success will have to face a new challenge this season as some of the largest contributors to the last two titles are vacant from the team. They will also have to decide whether this is another season devoted to a third straight championship, or whether it will be a year of preparing the younger players to lead the team next season...read more

This spring, Girl's Lacrosse is ready to work hard and reach their goal of winning a state title. Last season went very well and set a solid foundation for future players to build upon. The girls lost by one goal in the state semifinals last year and are looking to take their game to the next level in this upcoming season.
After losing a few seniors on the squad, during the three day tryout period, the coaches will be scouting for any new additions. Sam Hornsby, a junior on the team, noted how the current team bonds so well together and share a common goal of reaching the championship...read more
