2. 100 Mutilated Bodies Found Near Prison
Over 100 dismembered and mutilated bodies were found in the sewer systems near the prison La Modelo, one of Colombia’s largest and most notorious prisons. However, this new find is not new information to the country as there has been knowledge of such gruesome acts as early as 1999. In this particular case, there is seemingly no connection (nor identification) of the victims; however, it is known that their murders may have been carried out by Mario Jaimes Majía aka “El Panadero” Alejandro Cárdenas Orazco aka JJ. An investigation has been going on for months of this particular case yet not much information has been found. However, you can read more about the details of the case here.
